Just Like Christmas

Tonight we went to our niece, Madison's graduation. She graduated from pre-school. We are talking full on cap and gown ceremony. She was very proud as she should be. When we left we went over to Home Depot and Lowe's to look at ceiling fans for Laura's office. When we got home and pulled into the driveway, it was like Christmas. Our dirt pile was GONE!!!! It was like I was a little kid on Christmas morning going downstairs to see what Santa had left me under the Christmas tree. Only this time Santa loaded up his sleigh and hauled off our dirt pile. Since we put the pile in the driveway a few weekends ago, we have had an ad on craigslist for free dirt. So for a couple of weeks we have had people pulling up and loading up all the dirt they want. We could have practically had a commercial and slogan, "Come get Dirty with Us!", with as much dirt as we had to give away. Tonight, while we were gone, our neighbors, Toby and Jane were loading up some dirt for their yard. While they were at it a couple of trucks pulled up at the same time and started loading. By the time the dirt fest was over the pile was gone and Jane swept the driveway. Talk about a great way to come home. Cheers!
