I spent the day today in San Antonio with my son Austin. He invited me to go on his 5th grade field trip to the IMAX and the Zoo. I had a great time spending the day with him. While I was there, Laura called and told me the hot tub had arrived. I asked her how it looked and she said, well they brought it on a trailer with a banner on the front of the truck that says "oversize load", if that gives you an idea on how big it is. When we ordered it back in January we saw drawings on the shape. Up until this point our size perspective has been the hole left in the concrete. We knew that it would be partially in the hole and partially out of the ground. Well GREAT GOOGLIE MOOGLIE!!! You could fit 10 people in this thing easily and probably have a couple of people in the middle floating around on a raft. Alright maybe 2 people on a raft is exaggerating a little bit, 1 person is probably more like it. A special cabinet that goes around the outside had been built. They dug out the hole that was left in the concrete, so the footwell of the hot tub could fit down into the ground. Then the cabinet was set around the hole and they put the hot tub inside. You can tell these guys have done this a few times. Cheers!
